07 July 2010 (Wednesday) - The third batch of the STFAP Alphabetic Bracketing Scheme has
been processed. Bracket results are now released and published online. The said results will
also be posted at the OSSS and OSA of the different campuses.

3rd Batch of Bracket Processing for A.Y. 2010-2011
19 June 2010 (Friday) - Student login for STFAP Online is temporarily disabled
to give way for the processing of the 2nd batch of STFAP bracket processing for
A.Y. 2010-2011.
The 3rd batch run includes online applications submitted, as well as the manual applications
submitted by OSSS to UP Computer Center for encoding before the said cut-off.
Students may login again and view their bracket assignments
online after the release of the 3rd batch processing.

2nd Batch of Bracket Processing for A.Y. 2010-2011 Released
01 June 2010 (Tuesday) - The second batch of the STFAP Alphabetic Bracketing
Scheme has been processed. Bracket results are now released and
published online. The said results will also be posted at the OSSS and OSA
of the different campuses.
Students can now log in to apply online.
Bracket results can also be viewed upon logging in for students who already have
their manual applications processed for the first two batches of STFAP bracketing for
this academic year.

2nd Batch of Bracket Processing for A.Y. 2010-2011
15 May 2010 (Saturday) - Student login for STFAP Online is temporarily disabled starting today
at 11:59 PM to give way for the processing of the 2nd batch of STFAP bracket processing for
A.Y. 2010-2011.
The 2nd batch run includes online applications submitted, as well as the manual applications
submitted by OSSS to UP Computer Center for encoding before the said cut-off.
Students may login again and view their bracketed applications or continue their unfinished
online applications when the 2nd batch of bracket results will be released.

They must submit the printed copy of their online application,
together with the supporting documets, to the STFAP Office
of the UP campus where they are admitted within one month
after applying online.

Regularization of Batch Processing Schedule
09 June 2009 (Tuesday) -
Effective this month, batch processing will be regularized
for a more predictable batching schedule. Please be guided
accordingly. Note that this schedule applies to the online
applications and OSSS submissions of manual applications to
the UP Computer Center. Forms submitted after the cut-off
of a given batch processing schedule will be included for
processing in the next batch processing.
Application Schedule:
- 1st week of February
- Start of Application: Students can either apply online or
obtain a copy of the printed form to fill up and submit
to the designated office of scholarships in the CUs with
supporting documents.

- End of the current academic year's application cycle.
Submission Schedule:
- 1st week of April
- Cut-off of 1st batch (for advanced freshman registration)
- 2nd week of May
- Cut-off of 2nd batch (for regular registration)
- 2nd week of July
- 1st semester cut-off: bracket assignments will apply on the 2nd
semester for applications submitted after this cut-off
- 2nd week of October
- Cut-off for 2nd semester registration
- 2nd week of December
- 2nd semester / Academic Year cut-off: applications for the 2nd
semester / current academic year will no longer be accepted after
this cut-off

New STAP Application Form for AY 2009-2010
The STFAP application form for the Alphabetic Bracketing Scheme
has been revised to accommodate the revision of STFAP brackets
among other changes. Please use the new version of the form,
v.1.06 for your application.
You can get application forms from the OSA in your campus or you
can download the PDF here
for manual application.
The online application system is still being revised and tested
to accommodate the revisions. Encoding of manual applications
will start on April 8, 2009.

* Note: The Alphabetic Bracketing Scheme is appicable for
applicants with student numbers beginning with 2007 and above.
For older students (student numbers beginning with 2006 and below),
please use the Numeric Bracketing Scheme application form.

Important announcement to STFAP applicants:
Please be advised that the delay in the uploading of the online
application is due to a possible revision of the STFAP brackets.
Online application and processing will be available in the first
